21 years old this week (24 October), a young superstar Wayne Rooney just gave himself a birthday present . It was a hattrick to The Wanderers' goal. It was also an straight and clear answer to media doubt regarding to his unstable performance since World Cup 2006. And I agree wif Mr.Fergie..it was a World Cup hangover. But let's move on..here is the Wonderkid that we know. The Wonderkid who scored a fabulous goal to Arsenal David Seaman's goal. Now, he is back on track, signed by his hattrick.

Wayne Mark Rooney, born 24 October 1985 in Liverpool. Unlike most people who put Liverpool FC as their boyhood team, Rooney's loyalty remain to Everton FC - Liverpool rival. Joined Everton FC and live up his name by being the youngest player who score a goal in Premiership (16 years and 360 days). Why is he so special? For me simply because he always kick any ball with passion and heart. He has no physical advantages with big build (for an athelete..) and average heights. But be sure that he will run and kick until the final whistle blown. His upperbody balance and skilled control put him as one of the strongest striker I ever know. Complete striker, I may say...he can score, he can create opportunity for his teammates and good defense. But sometimes his aggression don't always in his favor. Like any youngsters, he has quite bad-temper, so red card is quite familiar with him. Or maybe he has Roy Keane or Eric Cantona as his role models, I don't know. One more thing, his style of defense remind me to Gennaro Gatusso, who I admire in defensive football.

It.s 3.48 in the morning and tomorrow trip to Genting forbid me to sleep. Why? Coz it will be almost impossible for me to get up at 6.00 o'clock. Yea...2 hours to sleep? give me a break. So I torched myself and keep my eyes open till 6. What would I do now?

I don't do the teaching very well in my life, but I do enjoy the family gathering and every year since I study here...I never be able to go back and do that. It's all because EXAM!!!

Last few weeks, Supernova struggled hard for her problem. Apparently, there was a problem wif my NVidia Card (Video Card). I tried everythin to heal and put her to the best performance. From re-install the driver to sent email to Mozilla...I thought it has somethin to do wif my browser. None of the effort I did good enough to repair my computer. Supernova kept auto-off every time I opened WMP. Until yesterday...

I opened http://www.yogyafree.net to get some info about disk cleaner. Accidentally, my eyes stucked on the online magazine they published few months ago. It's about overclocking. I don't know what overclocking is, but it said somethin about enhancing the Video Card performance, especially NVidia card, and mine is NVidia Gforce FX 5200. Bingo!!! I've been loking for this kind of shit forever.



The software called RivaTuner, can be downloaded here. I can't give too much explanation, coz it's already there at Mr.Google World. After overclocking, my Video Card is better than ever. No more shitty things happened.

One more information that I grabbed from yogyafree.net was TuneUp Utitlities 2006. It's best for any computer which barely taken care. Such as: messed up fragment, shattered registry key, or too many startup on WinXP. I used Windows Advance Care once, but it's nothin compare to this one.



It can:

- Enhance performance of the computer
- fasten/ at least cleaned up the internet connection
- Recover/ back-up files
- Delete any data that cluttering in ur computer (unfinished un-intallation)

Breaking News...!!

Following IE7 launching last week, Firefox 2.0 also ready to be downloaded at 24 October 2006, which is today. According to ComputerWorld, Firefox 2.0 include new features such as built-in antiphishing controls, built-in RSS and XML feed-viewing capabilities and a new in-line spell checker.

It is only took a week for Mozilla to finalize Firefox 2.0 after the release of Firefox RC 3 last week. In my computer now, I have IE7, Firefox 2.0 and Opera 9.0. Guess wat? I found Firefox as the best browser in security, compatibility and visual.

One more things for Firefox user...if anyone plan to install the new Firefox 2.0, take notice that some of the extensions and add-ons won't working.

Al Pacino is known from his role as a soft-spoken crimelord in Godfather Trilogy at 1970's (as well as Marlon Brando. I watch the trilogy over and over and over again....every year when I am at my hometown. Never buy it, I just rent it, coz I know for sure that it will be a waste if I buy it. Not because it's not worth it or somethin, simply just because it won't last long. I would lost it someday and I don't want to do that.

I thought that's all about Al Pacino and completely wrong I was. ...And Justice for All (1979) and Scent of Woman (1992) came along. In both of this movie, I saw the real quality of Pacino. Real actor with genuine characteristic. Nobody act like he does...i think, maybe becoz he has theater background. He is great, total and full of surprise. Especially in Scent of Woman, it's really amazing how he acted as a blind-ex-colonel with severe depresive disorder. He emphasized word at their own place and sometimes shouting out of nowhere. Also full with his famous "Whhoooaa!!", Pacino's original word.

Taken from 1979 Pacino's movie, Justice for All. I bought the DVD few years ago, just because Pacino's name on it. Guess what? It's worth it every single penny. Al Pacino plays Arthur Kirkland, an incorruptible attorney who attempts to initiate reforms in the Maryland justice system. In the other hand, he forced by his swore enemy, Judge Fleming to act as his lawyer for a rape case. Later on, he discovered that Judge Fleming is real guilty. Dilemma between stand by his principal and step out of this business or deny his principal and be somebody that he doesn't.

Tiba-tiba otak gw kok seger yah? jadi pengen nulis sedikit...

Topik kali ini diinspirasi dari novel Sir Arthur Conan Doyle dari sang karakter utamanya, Sherlock Holmes. Gw ingat di salah satu novelnya, Sherlock ngobrol ma Mr.Watson bahwa dia suka sekali tenggelam dalam sel otaknya yang abu-abu. Kok abu-abu? gw jg ga ngerti namanya jg novel. Tp yg penting sejak itu, gw selalu menganggap bahwa otak dimana kita menyimpan memori dan ide itu warnanya abu-abu. Bukannya merah seperti di dalam buku biologi.

Bagaimana kalo otak itu bukan hanya sekedar segumpal jaringan-jaringan nyaris bulat, tapi lebih menyerupai ruangan dengan kita di dalamnya? Warnanya tetap abu-abu, tp di-upgrade dengan menyerupai ruangan baca, dengan banyak buku, sebuah kursi dan sebuah meja. Ingatan-ingatan kita di-ilustrasikan dengan buku-buku dan catatan dalam rak-rak yg tinggi. Ingatan penting mungkin bukunya masih bagus dan rapi, dengan catatan2 kecil, sebaliknya kalo ingatan ga penting ato yg bisa gampang lupa cuma ditulis dalam kertas2 dan berserakan. Kalo dipikir-pikir mungkin Grey Chamber gw isinya penuh ma kertas A4 berserakan dimana-mana...gw sering lupa, so....

Actually there is nothing special for a couple of days that worth to be written about. But for me, everything is special, everything has their own interesting side. Coz "I am the king in this business, so..." haha

I just realize this couple of weeks, my impression of others is getting better and better. It's been a long time since I listen to it. Not because I'm superstitious or somethin, more coz It's never right. I tended to judge people far before I know them. It sounds ridiculous and girly haha, that's what happened. And more I did that, more guilt I felt. So I stopped...

Few days ago, I found rare occasion and start to do that again. know what, I was right. My gut feeling started to roll again. It feels real good when u re rite. Especially if it's a positive judgement. I'm not trying to be judgmental, it's just extraordinary satisfying.

The more I'm getting closer to the edge, the more good thing and feeling comes and say "u don't wanna do that, not now". I paid my due, time after time, I've done my sentence...but still a long way to be a champion

Udah lama banget ni gw ga blogwalking. How re they doin yah? Jadi kangen blog nya Mas Enda ma Mas Priyadi, dan kalo laper ke blog nya Goodeaters. Akhir-akhir ini maen mulu, jadi agak terbengkalai "kewajiban" gw sebagai blogger. Oh ya, ke tempate nya Haze deh kalo gitu...mo nyari cerita konyol.

Gw selalu menyangka kalau manusia itu vulnerable, dan gampang membuat kesalahan. Seperti menyinggung perasaan orang lain dan sebagainya. Gw pribadi ga pernah dengan sengaja menyinggung perasaan orang lain sehingga orang lain merasa tidak nyaman, bahkan marah. Jadi bagi yang pernah merasa tersinggung karna gw, itu tidak pernah disengaja.

Meanwhile,
Ada juga orang yang dengan terang-terangan menyinggung perasaan orang lain. Secara umum, perasaan vulnerable manusia terbagi 2:
1. Vulnerable by act
2. Vulnerable by event

Vulnerable by act berarti ketidak-mampuan seseorang untuk bertahan menghadapi tekanan dari perlakuan orang, contoh: sindiran, dll
Vulnerable by event berarti ketidak-mampuan seseorang bertahan menghadapi tekanan dari suatu kejadian2 negatif, contoh: kematian, dll

Nah...sekarang orang-orang tsb dengan terang-terangan menghajar self-esteem orang lain dengan sindiran, ejekan atau bahkan menjadi seorang big-bully. I talked about the cartoon exhibition shown by an amatuer video, which made by people from Anti-immigrant party in Denmark. Hahaha....dunia makin kacau aja, bukannya makin berpegangan tangn.

Anti-immigrant party? WTF? They sure haven't ready for globalization yet. One of the worst term, other than "labor". From the party we sure recognize instantly what is the motive of this party. I wonder why this kind of party still exist in this secular world. When USA struggle hard to get along with minorities by applying "affirmative action", at the other part of the world some narrow-minded try to attack everyone who jeopardize their...actually I don't know what, purity? I just don't get it.

Enough wif the party. They just a bunch of idiot people who can't afford anybody else to be somebody.

China Post today reported that Danish TV aired the cartoons of Prophet Mohammad publicly. I am not sure how free they are as a member of community there in Denmark. But I personally fell, that was out of line. They keep playin with this old wound, over and over. Fortunately according to Zaman Online, the Danish Muslims said they won't be provoked by that cheap shot.

The good thing is the government tried their best to prevent civil unrest.

Freedom of expression..? haha give me a break. Even your Mom won't let you to insult your neigbours or other people. All I say, Denmark need some regulations to control the flow of the media. They don't have to be as extreme as China - who btw just unblock Wikipedia from the internet -, but if it can't be stopped, sooner or later...that kind of act will lead to somethin bad (like this one.....). Pluralism, should be followed by plural mind too u know.

btw nothing in this world should be a regret, but lessons that should be taken.

Man, I should be given a medal for my sleep habit here...and still, 2 hours from now, will be at basketball court. I made a promise. Moga-moga aja si Adi ma yg laen ga ketiduran...bisa nangis gw kalo mereka ga ada di lapangan.

Gw beli buku tadi siang di Pyramid, kayanya cukup berisi. What are people thinkin actually? I really wanna know. Does Marxism still workin in this world? This book more likely tell about how - i call it - New Renaissance crush Marxism. One thing in my mind, is there any New Napoleon out there?

Bagi yang suka sarapan pagi, pasti kenal baik dengan yang namanya dengan roti. Pas masi SMP dan SMU dulu, gw hampir tiap pagi makan roti dan segelas susu kedelai. Kata mama sih baik untuk kesehatan. Tapi sayangnya, ga seperti roti manis atau bun...roti tawar itu adalah jenis makanan yang kesepian. Sesaat sebelum dimakan, roti selalu dioles dengan yang lainnya. Entah selai, mentaga, kismis, meses (kalo ga salah gitu tulisannya..), coklat. Kalau di TV, biasa ngeliatin orang barat yang bikin sandwich pake selada, trus ditambah tuna, salmon, smoked beef dll. Roti (tawar) ga bisa sendirian, begitu dikasi teman trus dimakan...kadang2 kalo dipikir-pikir malang juga nasibnya haha.

Gw adalah tipe manusia yang menciptakan kebiasaan sendiri (work around habit) dan biasanya bisa bertahan lamaaaaa sekali baru bisa diubah. Salah satunya adalah kebiasaan gw ngoles mentega di roti. Biasa memang, tapi masalahnya gw cuma suka ngoles mentega di roti...ga pake coklat dan ga pake selai. Dan itu bertahan selama beberapa tahun, bahkan sampe sekarang. Ada yang punya mentega?

Tapi ga semua selai itu harus dimakan dengan roti. Salah satu makanan favorit gw malah selai kacang dan selai strawberry. Selai strwberry sih baru akhir-akhir ini aja ngetesnya, tapi kalo selai kacang sudah kenal sejak lama. Cara makan dua selai diatas ini luar biasa gampang, cuma perlu selainya, jari dan lidah. Buat yang ga bisa memenuhi 3 syarat tsb, dengan sangat menyesal gw mesti bilang kalo itu "sangat disayangkan". Berikut cara makan selai kacang ala gerry:

1. Beli selai kacang atau strawberry
2. Buka tutupnya
3. Cuci tangan dulu
4. Pilih diantara 5 jari sebelah kanan terserah yg mana (gw blom pernah coba jempol..)
5. Masukin jari di dalam selai, trus putar mengitari botol
6. Angkat dan makan
7. Hidupkan lagu Samantha Fox - If music be the food of love

Beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan dalam makan selai (tanpa roti) ini:
1. Kalau selai kacang, beli yang ada serpihan kacang nya...karna lebih kerasa
2. Liat tanggal expire nya, kadang karna dah napsu lupa meratiin hal2 kecil kaya gini
3. Pisahkan dari selai yang dipakai buat roti, karna bisa terkontaminasi
4. Jangan pernah berbagi, selain jorok...jangan pernah bagi2 sesuatu yg enak huahaha
5. Jangan pernah ketiduran sembari makan selai...lengket disana-sini (pengalaman ni...)

Efek samping yang MungKin terjadi:
1. Kecanduan akut...
2. Jerawat...ini sih buat cew, gw mah cuek aja....

Superman.......
gw pengen bisa berada di 2 tempat yang berbeda dalam waktu bersamaan. Melakukan hal-hal di luar akal sehat, tanpa perlu melawan makhluk super lainnya. Cukup mengumpulkan minyak tumpah dari kilang, menyedot lumpurnya Lapindo, meruntuhkan gedung tua, melapisi kembali ozon atau lainnya.
gw pengen jadi SUperman, yang bukan superhero....cukup jadi superhuman.

Angin......
melantunkan bunyi dan membelai daun, tanpa ditanyai macam-macam. Siapa yang pernah mengeluh dan mempertanyakan sang angin? Dia merusak, mengangkat, berhembus, mendorong...tanpa ditanyai orang lain. gw cuma pengen jadi orang yang bisa berbuat apa saja tanpa ditanyai alasan. Kalau bertanya "buat apa angin berhembus?"...bukankah itu pertanyaan bodoh?

Jam weker....
tidur mampus, konstan tapi bikin orang bete di pagi hari.

Air, tapi bukan darah.....
mengalir fleksibel, tanpa perlu dipompa.

Batu....
diam, tapi dilewati oleh banyak orang. Ini mimpi gw, dilintasi karakter...dilintasi wangi...dilintasi pemikiran. Menjadi batu adalah mimpi orang-orang yang suka mengamati "serangga", tapi tidak mau "disengat".....

Karna mempertanyakan tujuan adalah krusial dan tabu.
