After a long speculation about the new Microsoft's mobile device for a few months. Microsoft break all the curiosity, by released the final form of Microsoft Origami in German yesterday, during the opening of the world largest fair for computer and IT, CeBIT 2006 in Hannover. Microsoft might not want to create more buzz, that can affect their sale later on. The leaked information about Microsoft Origami, force the Microsoft and Samsung (the hardware supplier..) to quicken the publicity. In fact, Microsoft had gave unconfirmed information, as in the OrigamiProject dot com.

Ultra Mobile Personal Computer (UMPC), as they labelled were smaller than tablet PC, to support the mobility. Microsoft had developed special software for the devices, called Microsoft Touch Pack for Windows XP. Microsoft also promised, the next generation of Microsoft Origami will be supported by Windows Vista, the new OS for Microsoft.

General appereance:
With 1.25 kg weight and the thickness will be no more than 2.5 cm, Origami will be very mobile. The capacity for the hardisk approximately around 30 - 60 Gygabyte *Man, it's a PC*. Other than that, Origami also has been completed with touch screen interface, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB ports.

But the problem for the product will be the battery. At least until now, the battery last only for 2.5 hours. If the mobility what a device will specialize at, Microsoft and their partners have to work somethin on that. People don't want to look for electricity plug-in when they are in a park, in a mountain or on the desert. haha...but they will find a way. Rock on Origami.
